Google combines grocery shopping and the experimental Shoploop app

The experimental Google Shoploop app will allow you to observe new attractive products through browsing videos.

Once a product is discovered, Shoploop offers you the option to log in or buy it on the merchant’s website. Google said Shoploop is recently focusing on beauty-focused products such as makeup, skin care, hair and nails.

The app encourages shoppers jumping between social media and e-commerce sites when they’re looking for new products to buy, Lax Poojary, Shoploop’s CEO, said in a blog post.

Google is the newest of many tech media giants to introduce video buying features. Facebook and Instagram added online retail outlets to their social media platforms earlier this year. Amazon uses its live streaming platform, Amazon Live, on its retail site. YouTube, which is owned by Google, also added classified ads that can be purchased to your videos last month.
