Google Calendar has disappointed some users after launching a number of occasions from its holiday list, Pride Month, Black History Month, Indigenous Peoples Month, Jewish Heritage, Holocaust Remembrance Day, and Hispanic Heritage.
The removal was shown in an article through a Google product rated and corroborated through a Google spokesperson. The holidays were removed from the calendar in mid-2024.
In A To the Verge, Google spokeswoman Madison Cushman Veld explained that the calendar made the resolution to scrub a litany of the app’s holidays for practical reasons.
