SAN FRANCISCO (AP) – Donovan Solano hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning and the Giants beat the Diamondbacks.
Brandon Belt and Chadwick Tromp were deep by the Giants, who pitched 7-2 against the Diamondbacks this season.

PITTSBURGH (AP) – An elevated sacrifice by Erik Gonzalez crowned a ninth inning of two races when the Pirates recovered to defeat the Reds.
Josh Bell and Ke’Bryan Hayes achieved victory with singles over Raisel Iglesias (2-3).Bell then scored the point of the tie with a single by Cole Tucker.
One punch later, Gonzalez covered himself in the right area and Tucker overcame Nick Castellanos’ deviant shot.
Richard Rodriguez (1-2) pitched a ninth scoreless to claim victory, one of five relievers who kept the Reds aimless in the last six innings.
