The Philadelphia Police Department’s Southwest Detective Division/Major Crimes Auto Theft Unit is the public’s assistance in locating a suspect involved in a carjacking incident that occurred on July 10, 2024 at 8:32 p. m. The occasion took place in the block of units of S. 39th Street.

The suspect is described as a 20-year-old black woman, of medium build, approximately 5’3″ tall and slim build. She has black hair styled in two ponytails and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt. The suspect armed with a black semi-automatic pistol.

Vehicle Description: The stolen vehicle is a white 2010 Buick Lacrosse with Pennsylvania registration MMD-9255. The vehicle has black tinted windows on the driver and passenger side and a dark blue driver’s mirror.

NEWARK, N. J. – Today, Hatem Ghouneim, a 35-year-old Egyptian national, admitted his involvement in a thousand-dollar fraud with a rideshare company. Ghouneim is at fault for pleading guilty to 3 counts of wire fraud filed in the U. S. District of Pennsylvania. U. S. Judge Stanley R. Chesler of the federal court in Newark, following his extradition from Spain.

The fraud, which occurred from January to December 2019, involved Ghouneim creating fraudulent accounts with stolen identities to collect referral fees from a tech company that operates a ride-sharing service. This scheme resulted in really substantial monetary losses for the company in the form of fraud. Referral payments.

Each wire fraud charge Ghouneim faces carries a maximum sentence of 20 years and fines of up to $250,000. His sentencing is scheduled for November 13, 2024.

TRENTON, N. J. – Dywann Pugh, 44, of Asbury Park, N. J. , was sentenced today to 10 years in prison for his involvement in drug and gun distribution offenses. The sentence was handed down in Trenton federal court, presided over by U. S. District Judge Zahid N. . Quraishi.

In the past, Pugh had pleaded guilty to owning attempting to distribute 500 grams or more of an aggregate containing methamphetamine and to illegally possessing a firearm and ammunition through a convicted felon. These statements were presented to former U. S. District Judge Peter G. Sheridan.

The fees stem from a Nov. 21, 2022 operation in which law enforcement executed warrants at Pugh’s residence. During the search, officers discovered more than 3 kilograms each of methamphetamine and cocaine, approximately 150 grams of fentanyl, approximately $19,000 in money and drug distribution tools, as well as a tablet press and approximately seven kilograms of cutting agents. Additionally, a loaded Hi-Point Array 380 caliber pistol was recovered.
