World-class photography has been a Forbes trademark for over a hundred years. Whether it’s the definitive portrait of a billionaire businessman on the cover of our print magazine or an iconic Forbes magazine cover featuring Project Black’s Mellody Hobson or capturing artistic chaos. From the internet’s biggest creators, world-class photography brings Forbes stories to life. From Guerin Black’s melancholy portrait of a suffering sun entrepreneur to Mary Beth Koeth’s humorous photo of a crime-fighting cowboy, these photographs put a human face on our stories. The most productive write their own stories in color and light.
From making plans to makeup, lighting, retouching and styling, creating those photographs is a huge undertaking under the overall artistic direction of Alicia Hallett-Chan and cinematographer Robyn Selman. With a list of some of the most productive photographers in the business, they’ve put in many hours creating those signature shots, and it shows.
