Florida State Baseball adds extra game against Florida Gulf Coast

The Florida State baseball team was scheduled to upload some other out-of-conference games to their calendar after the Seminole game opposite South Florida was postponed last month due to COVID-related issues.

Now the Seminoles have added game to their agenda.

On Wednesday, FSU announced that the Seminoles will play a game from the Florida Gulf Coast on May 12 at Dick Howser Stadium, and the two groups were already scheduled to face off on May 11.

Games on May 11 and 12 will start at 6 p. m. Fans can use the ticket with the March 9 game price to watch the FGCU game on May 12.

USF-priced ticket holders who are unable to attend the game on May 12 may give the amount of their payment or request a refund. The added game now completes the full schedule of 50 FSU games for the 2021 season.

The Seminoles suffered an 8-7 loss to Jacksonville on Tuesday night when Christian Coipel hit three home runs, a two-run home run with two outs in the ninth inning.

FSU will be touring this weekend, as the Seminoles will be in Louisville starting Friday night at 6 p. m. M. Saturday and Sunday games will be broadcast at 1 p. m. M. Y p. M.

The first two games in the series will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra, while the last game in the series will be broadcast on ESPNU.
