Filtered photos of Fitbit Versa 3 and Fitbit Sense smartwatches: here’s your first look

Images of 3 new Fitbit devices, Fitbit Versa 3, Fitbit Inspire 2 and the new Fitbit Versa have been leaked, giving us our first genuine photos of Fitbit’s upcoming fitness trackers and smartwatches.

The photos, which first gave the impression on the German online WinFuture website, reveal the successors to last year’s Fitbit Versa 3 and Fitbit Inspire, as well as a new smartwatch called Fitbit Sense.

Fitbit, which was purchased through Google, deploys new devices in early fall, so the timing of this leak isn’t too unexpected. For the most part, there don’t seem to be too many radical tweaks to the design of one of the portable devices.

The Fitbit Versa 3 has the same circular shape as the previous two versions, but of a physical yetton like the Fitbit Versa 2, it looks like the Versa 3 has a rear touch zone on its left side, like the Fitbit Charge 4.

As evidenced by the icons at the bottom of the watch, it appears that the Versa 3 will have a built-in GPS, which is unavoidable given that Fitbit added this feature to Charge Four this year. It also looks like the Versa 3 will have a built-in microphone and will be waterproof. Because Google now owns Fitbit, Alexa on Versa 2 will most likely be replaced through Google Assistant.

According to the photos, the Versa 3 will be available in at least two colors, black and gold, and will have a detachable strap.

The Fitbit Sense is a new Fitbit product called and, based on photos, can be a more premium option than versa 3. In addition to a GPS icon at the bottom, it also appears to have an electrocardiogram icon, giving you features for those of the Apple Watch five and Samsung Galaxy Watch 3.

A third icon on the back can also be just a thermometer, so the Sense is possibly also for measuring its temperature.

From a design point of view, the Fitbit Sense looks a lot like the Versa 3, but has two small slits in either frame. It will also come in several finishes.

The fitbit Inspire 2 design is very similar to the Fitbit Inspire HR, the company’s existing exercise tracker for less than $100 with a center frequency monitor. Since Motivate and Inspire HR are now reduced to $49 and $69, respectively, they are more than likely to be at the end of their lives.

What remains to be noted is whether Fitbit will avoid the Fitbit Inspire, which is reasonable but has a center frequency monitor.
