Facebook takes strong action against ‘fake news’ websites, a far-left operation funded by black money

Facebook will now ensure that teams like Courier Newsroom are “subject to the same criteria as political entities” in advertising and will no longer appear in the Facebook News tab.

“Facebook confirms what Americans for the public accept as true about what they’ve been reporting for months: Courier Newsroom is a fake news operation,” Adam Laxalt, an american for Public Trust outdoor attorney and former Nevada attorney general, told Fox News. .

“This newest company, managed by liberal black currency operation Arabella Advisors, presents itself as a local medium as it drives a partisan schedule, whether in its ‘stories’ and in virtual ads selling stories,” Laxalt said.

Courier Newsroom did not respond to a request for comment.

Facebook’s ad library reports that Courier places classified classified ads that appear to be news on the social media platform. Classified ads come with articles pushing for mail-in voting, attacking President Trump’s reaction to the coronavirus, and praising Democratic members of Congress.

“It was a deceptive and effective practice while it lasted. These new policy adjustments through Facebook and their generation competency deserve to help decrease the distribution of those sites, or at least provide more transparency to users about who they actually are.” Fischer wrote.

Courier Newsroom presents itself as “a progressive media company owned by the non-profit organization ACRONYM and other personal investors.” ACRONYM is a non-profit organization committed to “promoting progressive reasons through cutting-edge communication, advertising and organization programs.”

New Venture Fund donated $250,000 to ACRONYM in 2018 and is one of many nonprofit teams controlled through Arabella Advisors, a Washington-based philanthropic company. Arabella and New Venture Fund were founded through Eric Kessler, who worked in President Bill Clinton’s administration.
