During Build 2022, Microsoft announced a wide variety of new features and functions for Windows 11, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365. The Teams Live Share and Loop parts were among the most important announcements, but they weren’t the only features and features presented at the Conference.
We cover those two features in a separate article, however, as a quick overview, Live Share allows other people to interact with the content in an assembly. A Microsoft demo showed that assembly participants were running in combination in a 3D model. The feature makes assemblies more collaborative and interactive.
Loop parts are parts that can be synchronized in Microsoft 365. Imagine a chart that can stay up to date in all documents, presentations, etc. Soon, developers will create loop parts from adaptive boards.
Starting today, Teams app developers can enable in-app purchases. This allows applications to be transferred from loose to loose, as Microsoft explains. The new option can be implemented with “a few lines of code,” allowing for an undeniable transition for developers. .
Microsoft also makes it easy to control and assign purchased licenses in Teams apps. Previously, developers had to create their own license control system. Starting this summer, developers will have the ability to outsource license control to Microsoft.
A new core experience is being rolled out within the Teams Store. This will help users identify the applications they use in other organizations and corporate chats. Microsoft is also how application discovery works in context. The company shared an example of how to compose messages and organize message extensions through responsibilities that a user can take on.
Microsoft is also uploading the ability to upload an app to Teams with a link or QR code, which deserves to simplify the process of downloading apps on mobile devices.
Microsoft has announced collaboration controls in Power Apps that allow developers to drag and drop Microsoft 365 collaboration features into apps built with Power apps. These come with features for chats, meetings, files, and Teams responsibilities through the scheduler. The new features will be held in the summer of 2022. Microsoft offers an on-demand query that addresses the issue in more detail.
Many of the new features on the way to Teams are meant to create new apps. Microsoft announced the Azure Communication Services Pattern Application Builder, which enables developers to create and deploy undeniable programs for virtual environments.
Enhanced Microsoft Graph APIs allow developers to integrate Teams chats into apps. This facilitates end-user delight by reducing the number of programs a visitor has to use.
Microsoft also announced the availability of the Teams Toolkit for Visual Studio Code and Teams Toolkit for CLI, the former of which is a “one-stop shop to start building collaborative apps with Teams,” according to Microsoft.
Microsoft brought the Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) APIs for team approvals. These new equipment make it easy to track changes. The new approvals APIs will be available in preview later this summer.
SharePoint has also acquired a new content collaboration capability. The SharePoint Framework can now be used to create parts and pages on SharePoint sites, Teams apps, and so on.
In addition to the new features for the Teams platform found in theArray, Microsoft has announced a collection of apps found in Teams:
