Shriya Naheta is an entrepreneurial rookie, decided to create an ecosystem of organic food products and a collaborative environment for farmers and end customers, and created the start-up Zama Organics as a first step to learn about this vision.
Shriya introduced Zama Organics in 2017 and began delivering new biological products and spices to Mumbai. With a network of more than 50,000 farmers across India, Mumbai-based start-up offers products from all over the country.
Initial resources produce indigenous spaces: black rice and tea come from Assam, avocados from northeast or southern India, mangoes, black pepper and turmeric from the Konkan belt, and even paintings with tribal communities for products such as black puddings.
According to an article in yourstory.com, Shriya is now running to create a formula for farmers to help them with training, certification processes, preparatory paintings and more. She hopes to launch the same thing in November of this year.
