Enscape 4. 0 Launches on Windows Mac

Chaos has released Enscape 4. 0 on Windows and Mac OS X, the first time in the history of the real-time visualization tool that the software has been released on either operating system.

According to Chaos, the Mac edition has 95% of the features of the Windows edition, the highest in the product’s history. Mac users now have adjustable resources, collaborative annotations, and more.

Enscape 4. 0 includes more than 1,700 adjustable resources covering furniture, clothing, vehicles, and plants. They can be custom designed so that users can create the “right feel” for a three-dimensional scene.

With dynamic asset placement, users can select, place, and edit assets in the Enscape render window. All settings will be reflected live and can be temporarily deployed to multiple assets at once.

With the custom asset library, you can import traditional parts into Enscape. Colors, materials, and other key attributes can also be assigned to custom assets to fit other projects.

Enscape 4. 0 also adds context so architects can see what their construction will look like in Array without topographic modeling.

There’s also a new BIM mode that allows users to search for all individual or grouped elements in a scene with a single click. According to Chaos, this makes it easier to visually search the BIM data attached to the scene.

Chaos has also advanced collaboration with annotations that can be used to respond to replacement requests, hardware suggestions, and other issues across global teams.

On the other hand, thirty-two other people-only resources have been added to the Enscape resource library, with a variety of other poses, outfits, and accessories.

In load, Enscape 4. 0 loads 178 new variants of plant resources representing trees, shrubs, and flowers that grow in Mexico and desert regions. Each of them can be animated to charge gusts of wind and flapping trees.

Chaos has also used the new Nvidia ReLAX Denoiser to allow users to make noise in images, videos, and VR captures. According to Chaos, the effects of the denoiser are mainly noticeable in enclosed indoor spaces with minimal direct light, especially on shiny or metallic surfaces. Surfaces.

Additional features and innovations, particularly for Windows, include: ray-traced synthetic lights, an experimental feature to provide a more realistic lighting experience; enhanced reflections and global illumination; and for the Meta Quest 3 and HTC Vive Pro 2 VR headsets.

Other features are included for Rhino 8. 3; Optimization of Revit job sharing; and advanced integration with V-Ray, with a new scene exporter that can translate key insights from Enscape to V-Ray and other visualization applications, adding 3ds Max and Cinema 4D.

In the meantime, learn more about the future of Enscape in the following two ACS articles.
