Emma Watson arrives in Singapore.
The 34-year-old actress, who rose to fame betting on Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film franchise, will participate in TechLaw. Fest 2024 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, Marina Bay Sands, on September 12.
Emma will speak to her father Chris Watson, spouse and president of telecommunications, media and communications at foreign law firm CMS, on the topic of diversity and inclusion.
TechLaw. Fest 2024, organized through the Singapore Academy of Law and the Ministry of Law, will be held on September 11 and 12 and will bring together industry experts to talk about similar topics in technology, law, and governance.
The Minister of Culture, Community and Youth and Second Minister of Law, Edwin Tong, will kick off the occasion with a panel discussion on the first day with Judge Aedit Abdullah and Microsoft Asia’s Regional Vice President of Foreign Affairs and Legal, Mike Yeh.
Other speakers on the occasion included Dr Ong Chen Hui, deputy general manager of Business and Technology Group at Infocomm and Media Development Authority, Singaporean singer-songwriter Inch Chua and Kevin Zhang, founder of The Celeb Net and virtual synthetic intelligence (A.
