EE has completed the structure of the 500th New Emergency Services Network (NSS) in Glencoe, Scotland.
Once activated, the Glencoe will offer 4G connectivity over 6.5 km2 in the Highlands on an 800 MHz signal. In addition to this 500thArray, EE is proceeding to deploy ESN in the UK’s hard-to-reach maximum spaces, with more than 30 seconds built in June-July alone. This includes five new in England in the Lake District and South Downs National Park, as well as In Devon and Cornwall; 18 most remote locations in Scotland, such as the Cairngorm and Lock Lomond National Parks; and five more in Wales.
