Sheikh told investigators that a user named Omar, who claimed to be the operational commander of the JeM terrorist release platform in Nawabpur, Pakistan, was his manager.
He arrived in Nagpur on a Delhi-Mumbai-Nagpur flight on July 13, 2021 and checked into a hotel in the Sitabuldi region. Sheikh carried out the reconnaissance on his own as no one touched him in Nagpur, the official said.
On July 14, Sheikh took an automatic rickshaw and arrived at Reshibagh’s domain with the help of Google Maps. The location was sent through its manager, he said.

Earlier this year, Maharashtra police chief Sanjay Pandey transferred the investigation of the case to the state’s ATS.
