Coronavirus crisis sees thousands of applicants now competing for every role

Thousands of others are applying for jobs that would have attracted only a handful of applicants before the virus crisis, according to a new study.

Job CV-Library said it won a record number of programs last month, with many professionals fired or fired.

There were 4228 programs for a practice paralegal position, 3333 for a position as a human resources assistant, 3272 for a position as an intern, all in London: 2932 for a shopkeeper in Northumberland, 2653 for a factory in Sunderland, 2154 for a director in Coventry and 1,656 for an NHS 111 call manager in the capital.

More than 4200 other people have joined the trained legal assistants in London, according to an exam conducted through CV-Library on the online employment site.

Lee Biggins of CV-Library said that while many corporations suffered to recruit before the pandemic, they are now bombarded with task search apps.

The Office for National Statistics said that the UK had been affected in the first part of the year than many other economies.
