Arlington Heights Village Press Release:
As of Monday, August 10, 2020, the coVID-19 check of rolling meadows is moved to Arlington International Racecourse, 2200 W Euclid Ave.
It will be open 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Arlington Heights’ new location will continue to serve the northwestern suburbs of Chicago. The Rolling Meadows verification site is the most active site at the moment, reviewing an average of six hundred other people a day. An increase in checking accounts is expected statewide in the coming weeks.
Ten network test sites (CBTS) are open in Illinois, located in Chicago, Harwood Heights, Arlington Heights, Aurora, Waukegan, South Holland, Rockford, Champaign, Peoria and East St. Louis.
Mobile check sites are distributed statewide. The times and locations of cellular sites vary. The list of updated network verification sites and cellular verification sites can be obtained on Test-Illinois.com (website available after March 17).
Tests are loose and available to everyone, regardless of symptoms. Tests should also be done to others of all ages. The parent must provide and be able to consent to persons under the age of 18.
People are tested if they have been in contact with others who have been exposed to covid-19 virus or may have been exposed, even in the absence of symptoms. For more information on COVID-19 in Illinois, coronavirus.illinois.gov and for general data, visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website.
