Punk Talks intriguing war matches AEW and NXT
CM Punk has not played in a professional wrestling match since leaving WWE after the 2014 Royal Rumble, but is asked about a possible comeback.
While the 41-year-old has made it clear that he will not actively return to the sport, the MMA veteran has also not absolutely ruled out the option to do so at some point.
During a Q&A consultation on Twitter on Thursday, Punk asked who he would like to fight on AEW and NXT.
For AEW, Punk Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks. For NXT, Punk went with Finn Balor.
Any of those war-going parties would be massive in the wrestling world, especially since Punk never entered the ring with any of them.
Many Omegas will be the most productive ring employee in the world and Punk called himself the most productive in the world during his tenure at WWE, so a rivalry between them would make sense if Punk signed with AEW.
Punk would like a spouse to take on the Young Bucks, but it would also be a worthy game as the Young Bucks have long been the most productive etiquette team in the world.
As for NXT, Balor stands out as an ideal opponent for its size, taste and behavior. Punk and Balor enjoyed wonderful good fortune around the world before succeeding in WWE, so they took paths to succeed at the top.
Punk opposite an in-house fighting ring in 2020 would be a big deal, but if WWE or AEW need to convince him to come out of retirement, they now know what smart starting point would be based on the answers given through Punk.
Rumor about the main event of WrestleMania 37
WWE should be sure of what to do regarding the 37th occasion of the great wrestler in Los Angeles next year.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t WrestlingInc’s Marc Middleton), the initial plan for WWE for Randy Orton vs. Randy Orton. WWE champion, however, there is a great “100% clear” occasion in position for the show.
WWE still has about seven months before WrestleMania 37, which leaves a lot of time for the company to take care of something, however, it has long been said that WWE reserves safe angles and matches up to a year in advance, especially when it comes to a massive fight. occasion like Mania.
Edge and Orton were immersed in a very entertaining and passionate encounter for a few months from the night after the Royal Rumble 2020 when Orton turned around when attacking Edge.
They had a Last Man Standing attack won through Edge at WrestleMania 36, and The Viper then beat Edge to Backlash in what was announced as the greatest fighting attack of all time. Edge suffered a tear of triceps that game and has remained on the shelves ever since.
If Edge can’t return before the WrestleMania season, then it might make sense for the breakup of his rivalry with Orton to happen at WrestleMania 37. However, if you come back earlier, it’s hard to believe WWE will. hold the game. until March.
WWE has several major stars who will have to appear on the billboard of WrestleMania 37, adding Drew McIntyre, Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, Sasha Banks and Bayley among others.
The corporate has no shortage of combat-related features from WrestleMania’s great occasion, and this symbol deserves to be much clearer in the coming months.
McAfee Open to Match vs. Triple H
After an impressive and successful ring debut against Adam Cole in NXT TakeOver: XXX, former Indianapolis Colts gambler Pat McAfee advised it to open up to more games in the future.
In an appearance on WWE After The Bell with Corey Graves (Robert DeFelice of WrestleZone), McAfee said he would oppose the founder of NXT Triple H if the opportunity arose.
As a component of the arrangements for his opposite game to Cole’s on Saturday, McAfee over NXT’s comments a few weeks ago. Cole threw water in his face after making derogatory comments about the leader of the undisputed era, prompting McAfee to kick Cole in the head.
A livid Triple H gave McAfee a boost and asked him to leave Full Sail University’s NXT Arena.
McAfee stated that the pressure was “pretty strong” and warned that The Game would have been fine with its fall to the ground.
Triple H has never had a game on NXT, but there’s no doubt there would be a lot of interest in the WWE Hall of Famer combining it with the logo he built from scratch.
McAfee has no experience, but has already done wonderful promotions. In his opposite setting to Cole, he showed a wonderful athletics and the ability to be a forged heel.
If you can get a wonderful McAfee game like Cole did, Triple H does the trick, and that would probably shake the wrestling world.
