China’s first archaeological museum completed

Rite of opening of the Shaanxi Archaeological Museum held on April 16 in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province (northwest China).

The museum will be open to the public in the near future, according to the Shaanxi Academy of Archaeology.

The museum has a total domain of 10,700 square meters, with an interior exhibition domain of 5,800 square meters and an exhibition domain of 10,000 square meters, and 5,215 cultural relics found in the archaeological sites of the province on display. Its goal is to introduce Chinese culture and history to the world.
