I appreciate your support.”
The February message had an advent written through Parrett, which concerned the controversy surrounding the couple.
“Over the next week, I sent many of the fees that were opposed to Chad Daybell and asked for a “public” comment. He responded this morning with a short text message. This is an edited copy of what you sent me. I have to get rid of content that won’t be shared in public until their legal unrest is resolved. Like it or not, anything you say in public can and will be used against you,” Parrett wrote.
In another AVOW article titled “Vindicated” that was shared with Inaspect Digital Edition, Parrett wrote that “Chad and Lori called me tonight and we talked for almost a full hour. Finally, they were able to provide the SAGA ENTIER in its appearance from the beginning to this day. And I’m here to tell you that I feel totally VINDI’s to protect Chad.”
Parrett defended the couple in another AVOW article, writing, “Yes, there’s a plan, and [Chad and Lori] stick to them to the end. Yes, there is a genuine and convincing explanation as to why they should not offer a photo or the video or voice recording of any of the children. Yes, I keep all my previous comments that young people are doing very well, alive and well.”

“Obviously Chad lied to us,” the couple told the canal at the time.
Parrett later issued an extensive case on AVOW, a screenshot of which was received and published through KTSU, in which he said he had met with law enforcement officers for 3 hours at his home after Chad’s arrest to verify and assist them with his investigation.
“I have made it very clear to them that they are welcome 100 percent at AVOW and at home, and that I will do everything in my power to help them bring out this horrific series of occasions as temporarily as possible.” Parrett wrote in the post.
“Once again, I offer my non-public apologies to all of those who would possibly hurt me in my overzealous defense of Chad. I’m so wrong. May the Lord have mercy on the souls of these two young men and forgive me for my madness, ” added Parrett.
Parrett responded to Inside Digital Edition’s request to comment on the Daybell case or AVOW’s appearance on the Southern Poverty Law Center list.
