While they are best known for promoting physical products, Amazon also allows users to subscribe to streaming services, magazines, apps, and other subscriptions in their Amazon account.
This may be convenient for creating new accounts temporarily, but when it comes time to cancel a subscription, it means having to go through Amazon to do so.
Here’s how to cancel subscriptions purchased through Amazon.
Please note that once you cancel a subscription, you will no longer be charged for it, but you will lose everything that comes with it.
Quick Tip: This consultant shows how to cancel subscriptions through the Amazon website. You can access the page described below in the mobile app by tapping the 3 lines at the bottom right, then “Your Account”, then “Memberships and Subscriptions”.
1. Open Amazon on your PC and log in, then hover over the “Account & Listings” option in the right corner to display a drop-down menu.
2. Click on “Memberships & Subscriptions”.
3. On the next page, you will see all your active Amazon subscriptions. Start the cancellation procedure by clicking “Manage Subscription” to the right of the application in question.
4. Click the button next to the auto-renew option to cancel your bills and cancel your subscription.
Some features will not allow you to turn off auto-renewal from this page and will require you to go to another Amazon club page. If so, stick to the link provided and cancel from there.
If you want to cancel your Amazon Prime membership, there is also a faster option.
