This weekend at DC Fandome, we take a look at a lot of projects being carried out in DC right now, despite recent unrest, however, they are advancing with a great diversity of content across the media bureaucracy.
While Marvel is intense and relentless in the connected MCU has explained this brand, the DC Multiverse continues to expand and expand and I sought to verify it to be aware of everything.
I’ve been browsing and looking to locate all the different universes that are happening lately in DC right now, in addition to the comics.I’ve eliminated things that are “finished” (Gotham, before you say it), and ‘ I’ve tried to do things that are still happening, or at least they have a chance to continue.I got here with 12.Look what you’re doing with this expanding list.
1.Arrowverse: The largest DC universe in number of hours is through Arrowverse on the CW.Although Arrow itself is over, this universe still comprises The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman, Black Lightning, Supergirl and now perhaps Stargirl, as this series moves to CW, for now it can also technically be its own autonomous universe.Even Lucifer would possibly have sneaked in here with a link to John Constantine of Legends.
2) The DCEU: This is the giant cinematic universe adjacent to the MCU, but less far-reaching: Man of Steel, Batman V Superman, Justice League, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Suicide Squad, Birds of Prey and Shazam. Will continue, notably Wonder Woman 1984, Black Adam, Shazam 2, The Suicide Squad and Aquaman 2, but in particular projects such as The Batman. The DCEU will be about to get confused if The Flash ever comes out, because we see links between this film and beyond universes like Michael Keaton’s Batman, so who knows what’s going to happen then.
3.The Batman/GCPD – DC has let The Batman be its own new universe, apparently, and is only connected to the position for now, an upcoming GCPD pre-movie series that will take position in Gotham broadcast by HBO Max.
4.Titans: The DC Universe screen (soon to be HBO Max) has a third season upcoming that includes Scarecrow and Red Hood, but is only disconnected from everything else, even though it was noted in Arrowverse’s Crisis on The Earth Infinite episode.(which identified a lot of those universes of choice, adding the DCEU).
Doom Patrol – I think Titans and Doom Patrol were in the same universe, but that’s not true, and Doom Patrol is their own business, and in fact it’s not in the DCEU with two other versions of Cyborg between those two.
6.Harley Quinn: My favorite DC universe is the Harley Quinn animated series, which I hope will only have a third season on HBO Max, but that it will get bigger for other spin-offs.
7.Young Justice: The ultimate animated series for kids that opposes Harley is Young Justice, which is also about to return for a new season and is not related to much more I do not come with a lot of videos from the DC animated universe directly on this list because it becomes the maximum to follow.
8.Joker: I’ve debated whether or not to include Joker on this list, but I don’t think a sequel has been ruled out, given the amount of cash the original earned (literally, a billion dollars).Joker would be linked to The Batman, but that doesn’t seem to be true, but this turns out to be a universe in which DC could return.
9.Arkham: These are Rocksteady’s Arkham games, which now also come with the next Game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, shown in the same Arkham universe and a continuation of this story.
10.Archham Alternative (Gotham Knights) – On the other hand, it has been shown that if Gotham Knights is “inspired” through Arkham’s global original, it is not a continuation of this story and is his own kind of dimension of choice. It’s confusing, but that’s what they say, Oracle got hit from his wheelchair to become Batwoman, for example.
11.Injustice: Injustice games have their own wild plots that are very interesting, especially when they are similar to comics. There’s still no official news about Injustice 3, but it will almost actually take place someday.
12.Watchmen – Watchmen is constantly a DC property, however, the hbo prophetic series is technically on this list.We know that the original creator, Damon Lindeloff, may not return for another season, but we don’t know if HBO can make a moment one without him.Seems… very unlikely that this will adhere to some other universe here.
And that’s 12.Did I miss it? I also don’t count upcoming projects like Netflix’s Sandman, because who knows what it will be or possibly won’t be connected.
On the other hand, I see marvel has:
A little simplified. But I like D.C.’s expanding worlds a little bit right now.
