The 27-year-old is in the dock at Thames Magistrates’ Court in the Snapchat video where he appears to kick the feline in his kitchen.
The foreigner from France is charged with two counts of causing “unnecessary suffering” to the cat by kicking him in the stomach and hitting him on the head. Zouma is also accused of failing the cat for “pain, injury or illness. “
Zouma’s brother Yoan, who plays for Dagenham and Redbridge, was also charged with two alleged crimes following an investigation through the RSPCA. The 23-year-old filmed the abuse of his brother’s cat, sparking public outrage.
Yoan is charged with two counts of “aiding, instigating, advising or procuring” his brother Kurt to dedicate the crime of causing suffering to the cat.

After the video released in February, the RSPCA disposed of two cats from Kurt’s home and began communicating with Essex Police about the incident. The RSPCA continues to care for any of the cats.
The West Ham defender was fined £250,000 and defected through various sponsors but continued to play for the Hammers. His brother has not played for Dagenham and Redbridge since January 29.
Several animal rights activists and those enraged by the video took to Twitter to applaud the RSPCA for its paintings of the West Ham star accused of abusing her cat. blog site
