The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a frame was discovered around nine p. m. Tuesday along Hardington Avenue NE.
A passerby had reported the frame near 12th Street NE. The agency gave more details about the circumstances, other than saying there were clear symptoms of homicide.
The 911 call is from the investigation, which is still ongoing.
The Stark County coroner’s office knew the guy as Joseph A. Pomeroy, 31.
At the scene, six markers covered an entire block, with a crime scene tape and medical gloves left behind.
A neighbor who lives less than a block away said the domain wants lighting, but sometimes things are quiet.

Deputies were assisted through the Stark County Coroner’s Office and the Township Fire Department.
Pomeroy had been wanted by authorities, charged by the Ohio Adult Parole Authority’s Department of Rehabilitation and Correction’s with violating his probation as a signed sex offender. He was convicted in 2018 as part of Stark County’s joint statements for failing to properly sign his contract. with the authorities.
