BLUE STAR MODIFIES FARA DOCUMENTS: After two Republican senators raised questions last week about “inconsistencies” in Blue Star Strategies’ recent retroactive FARA filings for the company’s paintings on behalf of Ukrainian energy company Burisma and a corporate executive, the company filed an amendment last week. at the correct rate the scheduled date for an assembly with a U. S. government official.
According to the amendment filed with the Justice Department on Friday, Blue Star’s initial filing “inadvertently indicated” that it helped organize an assembly with State Department official Amos Hochstein in February 2016, when the assembly actually took a stand on March 24 of this year. A moment of the leaked meeting in Blue Star Strategies’ initial retroactive filing earlier this month, with then-state official Catherine Novelli, “is reported to have taken a position in March 2016; in particular” on March 1, the file says.
– The correction was presented a few days after the trials. Ron Johnson (R-Wis. ) and Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), who investigated Blue Star’s paintings for Burisma as part of an investigation into Hunter, the son of President Joe Biden, accused the company of founders, Karen Tramontano and Sally Painter in a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland about submitting “incomplete and misleading data to the Decomposer of Justice. “
– The senators pointed to the testimony of Tramontano and Painter themselves, which other dates for two assemblies with Hochstein on corruption charges against Burisma executive Mykola Zlochevsky (also known as Nikolai). Tramontano and Painter told the committee that their first meeting with Hochstein took office in December 2015 and that he once took office on March 24, 2016.
The amended dossier still comes with the December assembly with Hochstein, or at least nine other caucuses between Tramontano or Painter and U. S. officials on Behalf of Burisma that Blue Star Strategies leaked as part of the GOP-led Senate investigation.
