This is absolutely subjective, depending on the type of games you want to play and the type of functionality point you want. When it comes to specifications, we offer you the point of specifications you want through checking the minimum and recommended formula requirements for your favorite or future games. This can give you a general idea of what you want and prevent you from buying that new gaming computer that may not be able to read the new versions.
However, only as a measure, we propose at least the following if your budget is strictly limited:
Anything less than the above and it tends to struggle with modern games at 1080p settings. Of course, you can get away with lower-tier or older pieces if you’re just making plans to play older games, but for newer versions, definitely keep the above in mind at a minimum.
Again, this is completely subjective depending on your needs, but in our opinion, the most productive machines by price tend to hover around the price range of $700 to $900.
Of course, you can pass lower, but you’ll come across machines that just aren’t designed to play or, frankly, aren’t up to the task. It can be tempting to buy a less expensive ultrabook with a Core i7 or Ryzen 7 processor and tons of RAM, but don’t forget that they don’t come with the compromised graphics card or cooling requirements you’ll need to play properly.
Fortunately for budget gamers, deals on gaming laptops tend to be a weekly feature at most major retailers, so there are plenty of options. Monday and Amazon Prime Day that can bring wonderful effects for those who are willing to wait. And as many of our picks this week show, Labor Day sales also provided wonderful savings.
Our most productive recommendation: do your research. Specify the style and specifications you need and log in weekly to your favorite retailers. You can also let TechRadar do all the work for you and a normal guest on this page or in our engagement offers feed (opens in a new tab).

With a design that has necessarily remained unchanged for 2021, those devices now have a fairly thick frame and the processor features are also a bit older. The Acer Nitro five is a smart choice for PC gamers who have been looking to give up bells and whistles for a few years.
