The Beelink Mini S is a compact computer with a 15-watt Intel Celeron N5095 quad-core processor on Intel’s Jasper Lake architecture, 8GB of RAM and supports up to two presentations and up to two internal garage devices.
It’s now available on Beelink for $229 and up. And if that sounds familiar, there’s a clever explanation for why: the Beelink Mini S turns out to be a smaller, less expensive option than the Beelink U59 introduced last year.
Both computers have the same processor and similar fundamental specifications. Both feature Celeron Nfive09cinco processors, 8GB of DDR4-2400 memory, for WiFi five and Bluetooth 4. 0, and a set of ports that includes:
But the Beelink U59 also has a USB Type-C port that can be used for video or data, meaning this style can have up to 3 displays.
The omission of the USB-C port on the Mini S turned out to have allowed Beelink to shrink the chassis a bit, it doesn’t know from the measurements indexed on the Beelink website, implying that the new style is larger, even though the photographs show that it deserves to be the same length or smaller, because it has fewer ports.
Either way, it’s a bit less expensive than the U59, with a lower starting price. . . although this could be because the entry-level model also has less storage. Here is the price list for the two mini PCs. powered via Beelink N5095:
