AYANEO has opened an Indiegogo crusade for an AM02 Retro Mini PC and has already surpassed its goal, surpassing $62,585 at the time of writing. The pre-registration fee is $439, the on-site pledge is $441, and shipping is scheduled for February 2024.
The goal of this line of PCs is to create small systems that resemble retro gaming consoles. In this case, a front “lid” can be lifted to show and access all of its ports. It also has buttons on the top where a console’s “power” and “reset” buttons would be.
Here’s a trailer showing the Retro Mini PC AM02 in action. It offers a broader idea of its length and range, which is designed to resemble an NES, and shows what the demo screen looks like at the top.
