Global autonomous response specialist RCT has effectively commissioned the fleet of underground loaders from Evolution Mining, the world’s mid-tier gold company, with RCT’s patented ControlMaster automation technology.
The allocation of Evolution Mining’s fleet of underground loaders from its former teledemete supplier to RCT’s fully autonomous generation solution.
RCT installed and launched its ControlMaster steering automation solution in a CAT R2900 underground loader and a CAT R1700 underground loader in Mungari’s operation in Western Australia’s gold fields.
RCT supplied two automation centers in mine-designated paint spaces supplied with G-Dash and provide operators with real-time graphic knowledge of the machine.
The assignment also concerned the installation of a communications network, critical spare parts and an RCT parts cabinet.
Ryan Noden, Director of Commercial Development at RCT Mining, said he was pleased that RCT continued to expand its existing dating with Evolution Mining.
“RCT’s automation solution was implemented in the past at one of Evolution Mining’s other projects and is now helping the Mungari operation to further optimize its production capabilities,” says Noden.

RCT will also provide the site with comprehensive on-site educational modules for device operators and maintenance personnel.
