Stockport’s Arden Software has completed the acquisition of American software company Cimex Corporation.
Arden specializes in CAD and FAO software for the packaging industry, with its Impact packaging design software used worldwide. The Arden company organization, which also includes Arden Dies and Arden Engraving, has offices around the world, in the United States, Germany, Denmark and India.
Founded in 1987 from its headquarters in Belchertown, Massachusetts, Cimex develops CimPACK software and has consumers worldwide, North and South America, Europe, Japan, China and South Africa.
Martin Poynter, Managing Director of Arden Group, said: “Arden Software and Cimex represent an unusual percentage of a strong technological progression and respectable relationships with visitors in the packaging and printing industries, so we are confident that this acquisition will bring genuine results benefits for our visitors and our market position.”
