While Apple, like the rest of the retail world, is suffering from the coronavirus pandemic, this has not yet slowed the brand’s tendency to spend more than the average store to stand out from the crowd. Concrete example: soon opened the Apple Marina Bay Sands store, which is literally an orb floating in the water in Singapore.
The location, which is in Singapore’s luxury hotel and hotel area, is the third largest Apple Store in the national state. According to an official teaser website:
Soon we will open the doors of our new store through the bay. Apple Marina Bay Sands is at the heart of creativity, a position created so you can capture your concepts and passions. It will be an area to explore, attach and create something new. We can’t wait to see where the eye of your mind takes you.
According to Archigardner reports, the new Apple Store replaces a fragmented Crystal Pavilion that housed the Avalon nightclub.
Apple has absolutely rebuilt the location with glass panels designed to reflect the Singapore skyline during the day and shine at night, as shown in the images posted via Javan Ng on Twitter:
