We’re kidding, but those eBay-based speculation scams are a huge problem, especially when there are a lot of those devices available to acquire in the first place. This creates a kind of false scarcity – just take a look at how long it took PS5. inventory to stabilize when it was heavily plucked.
Of course, don’t give resellers any oxygen, and their demand evaporates overnight. Hopefully, the unreasonable costs they are asking for the Vision Pro are the nail in their coffin, as buyers cannot come up with the money to buy a headset that is triple its price.
