Apple Runs iOS 19 Update Called ‘Luck’ and More

Apple just announced iOS 18 a few weeks ago at WWDC, touting new home screen features, Apple Intelligence, and more. Now, as expected, Bloomberg reports that Apple has already made progress on iOS 19, macOS 16, watchOS 12, and visionOS 3 for next year.

In the most recent edition of his Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman reports that Apple is “officially running on the major operating systems of 2025. “While this may appear early, Gurman notes that this is Apple’s same old timeline of software progression schedules.

However, it’s too early to tell what Apple plans for next year’s software updates.

The company has official work on the main operating systems of 2025: iOS 19 (“Luck”), macOS 16 (“Cheer”), watchOS 12 (“Nepali”) and visionOS 3 (“Discovery”). This might seem premature. After all, this year’s software crop has yet to be made public. But that’s the same old timeline: the company is already introducing next year’s hardware products and wants the corresponding software to start testing the devices.

Do you have an idea of what next year’s theme will be?Is there anything on your wishlist that Apple has iOS 18?Let us know in the comments.
