Tech giant Apple has tried to diversify its supply chains away from China, but it turns out there’s no way to get away from production power.
According to Wellsenn XR, a China-based consulting firm, Apple’s dependence on Chinese suppliers is evident from an investigation Tuesday of the most recent nomenclature (a list of raw parts and fabrics) of the Vision Pro true combo headphones unveiled last week.
According to Wellsenn, the list lists 8 Chinese corporations involved in the manufacture of Apple’s Vision Pro headphones. They come with camera module maker Cowell e Holdings and Luxshare, a company that assembles the product for Apple.

Apple’s stock soared after the company unveiled the product. Some analysts said at the time that the hardware product could vastly boost the tech giant’s valuation, Insider’s Zinya Salfiti and Nidhi Pandurangi reported June 6.
