Apple and Samsung be careful. However, another rival smartphone manufacturer has announced a significant advance in camera generation, and this time there is video.
The popular smartphone maker, Xiaomi, has revealed a new edition of its flagship Mi 10 Ultra smartphone with an invisible selfie camera under the screen, and it is possible that the phone is able to go on sale next year.
In a video tweeted through the eternal filterer, the Ice universe, Xiaomi shows the new smartphone along the existing model, which includes a flavor camera perforated on the most sensitive part to the left of the screen.
Maintaining camera quality and demonstrating are two main demanding situations when it comes to a secondary camera. However, apart from the apparent lack of perforation in the new model, it turns out that there is little visual difference between the two screens, apart from a small variation in brightness and color temperature. The video also serves to judge the quality of the new camera. A demo selfie is taken and the effects look good, but no direct comparison is made with the existing drilling edition.
However, from what we can see, the effects seem promising for anyone waiting to see the new technology, it remains to be seen how the new style will look in the genuine world.
Xiaomi lately has 10% of the global smartphone market’s share, according to Mobile Devices Monitor, and its Mi 10 Ultra is the most sensitive of Dxomark camera ratings at the time of writing this article.
For now, all eyes will be on fellow Chinese manufacturer, ZTE, who has already announced his goal of launching the world’s first smartphone with a secondary camera on the screen on September 1. These advances come at a time when Samsung has not yet revealed its own. subscreen camera and Apple continues to deploy a giant “notch” on its new iPhones. So will the quality be enough? We’ll know soon enough.
