Regardless, iOS 17 is available to the public, as are iPadOS 17 and watchOS 10. The updates come with many new features, such as innovations for iMessage, FaceTime, and NameDrop. They also bring a lot of new features to Shortcuts, and Apple just released a detailed document highlighting all the new features of the Shortcuts app.
Apple describes the Shortcuts app as “a quick way to do one or more things with your apps. “Users have endless possibilities to build automations on local iOS features, as well as integrations with third-party apps.
With iOS 17, watchOS 10, and macOS Sonoma (coming out next week), users will have even more features (via Matthew Cassinelli). For example, you can now create a shortcut to transcribe an audio log. send text messages, delete alarms, scan documents, or create a Time Machine backup.
