Once the trial is over, Amazon Prime Student costs $7. 49/£4. 49 per month, meaning you save 50% on the cost of a standard Amazon Prime membership. This is a great value to take advantage of while you can, as long as you enjoy at least some of the benefits above.

To sign up for Amazon Prime Student in the United States, you’ll need to meet a few requirements.
First, you’ll need to have an Amazon account. You can log in for free on Amazon’s website.
Second, you will need to be actively enrolled in at least one course at a school or university. Your school must be located in one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico. You’ll also want a valid Arrayedu email address. This does not have to be the email connected to your Amazon account, but it will be used to determine that you are a student, so you will want to access that account.
Lastly, and most importantly, you will need to be able to provide Amazon with proof that you are enrolled in college. While you don’t necessarily want to provide documentation to prove this when you sign up for Prime Student, you can provide evidence if Amazon requests it.
If you can’t provide documentation, Amazon will likely ask you to refund any benefits you earned while your Prime Student account was in effect. In other words, having to return all profits to Amazon, something no one needs to do.
Amazon United Kingdom has similar needs for signing up for the Prime Student program, with a few key differences. As in United States, you will need to create an account on Amazon. co. uk. You must also be 18 years of age or older.
Enrollment in a higher education institution geographically located in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland is essential. And again, while you don’t want to provide evidence that you’re enrolled in school when you sign up, you can if Amazon asks you to.
Finally, you’ll need to have a valid email address on Arrayac. uk or Arrayedu. ie.
To sign up for Amazon Prime Student in United States, simply go to the registration page.
Select the “Start your 6-month trial” button. On the next page, enter your school email address and the year you plan to graduate. Amazon uses this to know when your Amazon Prime Student subscription will end.
An email will be sent to your Arrayedu account for confirmation and from there you will be able to complete the registration process.
The Amazon Prime Student registration page in the UK is a little more complex. You will need to provide your school email address, expected month and year of graduation, as well as your educational level, the primary school you are studying, and your payment method information.
Once this is done, you will want to verify your educational email address. Your six-month free trial will begin once you check this box.
Already a Prime member and now a student? The good news is that existing Amazon Prime members can also upgrade to Amazon Prime Student. If you need to sign up for Prime Student, go back to the registration page.
Once you have been verified as a student, you will be refunded the difference between the regular payment and the less expensive student payment. You don’t want to cancel your existing Prime club to sign up for Prime Student.

Amazon Prime Student is necessarily a full Prime membership, for only a fraction of the annual cost. The only advantages of Prime that you don’t get once your six-month free trial ends is the ability to share your account with someone else.
