Google, however, has rejected and denied rating effects for “manipulating” political sentiment.
“When users enter queries in Google’s search bar, our purpose is to make sure they get the most applicable reactions in seconds,” a Google spokesperson said in a statement. “Reseek is not used to delineate a political calendar and we do not sever our effects in favor of a political ideology. Every year, we make a lot of changes to our algorithms to make sure they deliver high-quality content in response to user inquiries. .
