Gift Ten Industry has announced that a sequel to Madorica Real Estate is in progress for PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch. A release date has not been revealed, but they intend to release it this year.

Madorica Real Estate is a puzzle-solving escape game in which players use pen and paper. You are a new worker at the real estate firm Madorica in a city where many houses are occupied by ghosts. Before you can start renting a property, you’ll first have to exorcise it from all the ghosts with clues left by the company’s president.

Players will also take notes of clues discovered in the rooms of the houses to solve mysteries. The official online page includes layouts for each asset in PDF format so players can print and view them rather than just on the game screen.

While Madorica Real Estate is compacted into just 20 stages, its design was praised for its density as an analog board game. Nintendo World Report gave the Nintendo Switch edition of the game a score of 8. 5 out of 10 in its review.

Gift Ten Industry has been busy with a wide variety of projects since the launch of Madorica Real Estate. They released the sound-themed party game Audio Party Pack, Kaminazo along with DELiGHTWORKS, and an app that fuses software and maps with foreign languages called Kotoba Hakase (roughly translates to language teacher).

The announcement also explains that Tumbleweed, the logo of real-world escape games on Greendice, will be involved in the sequel’s progression. The trick of the basic blueprints will remain, but it will use the knowledge of Tumbleweed to inject even more concepts into the game. . Like the first game, there will be 20 stages.

Music production will once again be controlled by Tsukasa Masuko. By the way, the soundtrack of the original Madorica Real Estate is published on cassette, being the production of 50 copies.
