The impressive audiovisual show A Salute to the Crooners arrives at the Bru Boru Theatre in Cashel on Saturday, June 11.

This haunting display will pay tribute to the wonderful songbook of singers through Frank Sinatra, Andy Williams, Matt Monro, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Elvis Presley, Engelbert Humperdinck, Perry Como and Dean Martin.

What makes this production exceptional is that you can watch the crooners’ classics come to life with the fabulous representation of photographs of all the artists on a giant circular screen.

Outstanding world-class artist Dave Lawlor, star of the acclaimed “Reeling in the Showband Years” exhibition has been selected through Linden Productions to provide this visually striking display. Only an artist of Lawlor’s exceptional caliber can pay tribute, with precision and respect. and with the right humility – to so many musical icons in one boast.

Recognized through his contemporaries as one of Ireland’s singers, Dave’s dynamic-level presence will take the audience through the singer’s wonderful songbook and some of the well-known hits of the twentieth century such as Born Free, New York, New York, Portrait of my Love, The Wonder of You, Sway, Please Release Me, Moon River, That’s Amore, My Way, Smile, Quando Quando and many millions more hits.
