Her obituary that she and Anderson also had a daughter together. Lyons and Anderson had a young son, according to Lyons’ death notice.
Lyons also attended network school and, according to his family, “found his calling” when he ran for North Dickinson Elementary School in Carlisle.
At a news conference on Monday, Carlisle Police Chief Taro Landis presented a photo of the two victims in front of and at the centre. He offered their families their condolences for the loss of women, he noticed a cheerfully smiling in the photo, which gave the impression of being a selfie they took together.
Landis suggested to the public the truth of the situation.
“These are those two young women,” Landis said as he walked his arm towards the photo. “That’s what it’s all about. Mrs. Parmelee and Mrs. Lyons.”

“There were conflicting statements made through Anderson to the responding officers, Detective (Thomas) Dolan and Kimberly Gianforti of Children and Youth Services,” the complaint reads. “In addition, the cell phone and wallet newly purchased by Parmelee were absent from the scene.”
Investigators received information from Parmelee’s cell phone, which showed no evidence that she was committing suicide.
‘Finally, there were no dot marks, gun marks or gunpowder burns on the domain of Parmelee’s head that injured the autopsy, which would be consistent with a suicide,’ the document says.
The investigation into the young woman’s alleged suicide continued, but took a dramatic 25 days after her death.
Shortly after 9 p.m. on July 30, officers were again called to Lyons’ home, this time for a report of cardiac arrest. Responding officers found the mortally wounded Lyons lying on the floor.
Like Parmelee before her, Lyons had a gunshot wound to her head and was missing her cell phone. He rushed to Hershey Medical Center, where he died the next day, Cumberland County Deputy Attorney General Sean McCormack said Monday.
The two witnesses who discovered Lyons on the ground told the government that Anderson had come to them and told them to pick up their son and Lyons’ son at lyon’s house. Although the document published through PennLive wrote the names of the witnesses, the news site knew them as Anderson’s mother and some other woman.
“Anderson then went on to explain what had happened,” the offender’s complaint says.

When witnesses arrived at the scene of the crime, they discovered the 14-month-old boy alone with his dying mother. According to the complaint, investigators later discovered Lyons’ mobile phone near where Anderson discovered witnesses that night.
From there, the government says Anderson went to a space in Harrisburg, where he was given spare clothes and a bottle of chlorine, which he took to the bathroom.
“The police were also informed through the witness that Anderson had a firearm in his possession, asked for ammunition and Anderson wrapped the gun in a cloth while he was at the residence,” the complaint reads.
The witness stated that Anderson had also asked about the follow-up and claimed that he did not need anyone to know where he was. His cell phone reported missing and detectives couldn’t locate him.
When he arrested on July 30 at Carlisle, Anderson was driving Lyon’s 2017 black Honda Civic. McCormack, the prosecutor, said Monday that Lyons’ car was reported stolen as a result of his fatal shooting.
Interviewed the next day through detectives, Anderson allegedly confessed to killing Parmelee with the stolen gun in Boiling Springs because he thought she was unfaithful.
“Anderson confessed to killing Kaylee Lyons with the firearm that has not yet been recovered because of her confidence that Kaylee Lyons would possibly have set Anderson up or taken him to the police for the murder of Sydney Parmelee,” the complaint reads.
He killed Lyons with his gun, investigators said.
