A man is convinced that George Lucas photographed a photo of his family at Disney about 20 years ago, and the internet thinks he’s right. Posting on Twitter/X, Mark Chase shared a photo from a family vacation at Disney. It was taken with a classic camera, and it wasn’t until the family evolved their photographs that they discovered a very prominent person.
“We used to joke that George Lucas was in the background of that photo,” Chase said. “We never thought it was him. “
But now, looking at the footage with fresh eyes, Chase and his family are convinced that he was the author of Star Wars and not a stunt double. So Chase’s family decided to investigate, he told Newsweek. . The circle of relatives discovered that Lucas was at Disney World on the day they were there, February 27, 2005. They discovered photographs of Lucas from that day, and all of his clothes (shoes, pants, belt, and watch) look like match.

“The discovery was pretty crazy,” Chase, who was 11 at the time the photo was taken, told Newsweek. “The Web works with him. They love clever mysteries. Hopefully, virality will allow us to verify whether it’s him or not. “
The social media post garnered a massive response. It garnered 50,000 likes and more than 5. 5 million impressions, according to the social media site. The official Star Wars Twitter/X account replied to the tweet with emoji eyes, no matter what it’s worth. .

If it was indeed Lucas who was in the background of the photo, it would not be the first time he had given that impression in front of the camera. Years ago, it turns out that he fell in the street as part of a documentary shoot.
