WASHINGTON (AP) – Washington Post veteran journalist Bob Woodward’s new eBook about President Donald Trump will be titled “Rage” and will be released on September 15, less than two months before Election Day, on a list of Amazon.com.
Editor Simon-Schuster said the upcoming e-book follows “Trump’s movements in the face of a pandemic, economic disaster and racial unrest.” He says Woodward conducted a series of exclusive interviews with the president.
Amazon’s list also notes that Woodward received 25 non-public letters between Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, and added one in which Kim described his link as a “fantastic film.”
Woodward’s first e-book on Trump’s presidency, “Fear,” published in 2018 and reproduced on the New York Times’ list of nonfiction bestsellers. Simon-Schuster, editor of two high-impact e-books this year: “The Room Where It Happened,” through former national security treasurer John Bolton, and “Too much and never enough,” through Trump’s niece, Mary Trump.
