One approach is to use Clone Phone to move apps from your old Android device to your new Huawei (which has its limits), another is to locate APK for your unofficial font programs. However, the installation procedure can be a little cumbersome. Or at least that before Petal Search landed in Huawei’s app gallery.

With it, you can search the Internet for images, videos, news and anything else. Uses Bing’s default search engine. However, for Huawei phone users, this is also an easy way to install unofficial resource programs like APKMirror and APKPure.

Of course, there is the challenge that, because most of those downloads come from unofficial sources, it means that they don’t come from a more rigorously controlled app store, and this adds a little more threat to the process, if only because the apps may not be automatically updated in the background when security bugs and vulnerabilities are fixed. This exposes your phone to security threats, as do any app downloads from unofficial sources.

With the App Store and Google Play Store, we rely on them to review all destructive apps before they end up on our phone. With Petal Search drawing font effects, it’s more complicated. However, APKPure and APKMirror manually review APK/apps before they become available for public download.

When you’re looking for a popular app, like Instagram, the most productive effects are also the real app, not a harmful clone with questionable security. However, as with everything that is not official, it is important to be careful and check those verified badges on the download page before downloading and installing.
