2021-2022 Tesla Model Recalled Due to CPU Overheating

The popular Tesla Model 3 electric sedan has been recalled due to a fast-charging issue.

Affecting a total of 4287 pieces of equipment built between 2021 and 2022, the factor reported when the Model 3 is charging quickly, with Tesla claiming that the charging process can cause the infotainment central processing unit (CPU) to overheat.

If the processor overheats, the core display will be delayed or turned off, preventing drivers from deciding on the car’s driving mode, rearview camera demonstration, wiper setup, and caution lights, which could result in a greater threat to other road users.

According to Tesla, a live update is being implemented that will lower the temperature of the infotainment formula while charging quickly, thus preventing the challenge from happening again.

Those who don’t know if their Model 3 is affected can search for a LIST of VIN at the recall here or search for their VIN on Tesla’s recall search site.

This is the time this month when Australia’s most popular electric vehicle is recalled, following a small discovery related to the software factor similar to Track mode.

Cars have been Jordan’s hobby since before he understood the concept. Some say he was born with 5W-30 in his veins.
