The Photo Worldwide World Photo Awards have featured the winning photographers of its 2025 national and regional photography festival that celebrates the wonderful diversity of visual storytelling from around the world.
The National & Regional Awards program is an initiative established by Sony and Creo, creator of the World Photography Organisation, to support local photographers around the world, with 56 countries participating this year.
The 2025 Sony World Photography Awards, which also host student, youth, open and professional competitions, have won more than 419,000 photographs from more than two hundred countries and territories. The Worths also recognizes the most influential artists in the global career in the medium thanks to the value of contribution to exceptional photography.
Now in its 18th year, the free-to-enter Awards are a global voice for photography, offering world-class opportunities for exposure for both established and emerging artists.
National and regional winners have decided in open competition, which defends the exclusive photographs taken in the year beyond the year. All winners obtain a Sony virtual image apparatus and will be included in the Sony World Photography Prize in Somerset House in London from April 17 to May 5.
