The Sony World World of Foreign Renown awards have presented the winning photographers of their National and Regional Photography Festival in 2025 celebrating the diversity of visual narration worldwide.
The National and Regional Awards Program is an initiative created through Sony and CREO, author of the World Photography Organization, to local photographers from around the world, with 56 interesting countries this year.
The 2025 Sony World Photography Awards, which also organizes the Student, Youth, Open and Professional competitions, received in total more than 419,000 images from over 200 countries and territories. The Awards also recognize the world’s most influential artists working in the medium through the Outstanding Contribution to Photography award.

The national and regional winners have been decided in the open competition, which defends exclusive photographs taken in the year beyond the year. All winners receive a Sony virtual imaging device and will be included in the Sony World Photography Award exhibition at Somerset House in London from 17 April to 5 May.
